We really enjoy this Rv park. Nice large spaces. 50 amp electricity. No water or sewer at each site, but water is close enough that one can run a hose from site and dump is close and nice. We will be back.
Great place for camping on biking trails all over the area, including downtown Madison and McFarland. Bathrooms were modern and well maintained. Sites are basic with electricity only but was easy to fill our water tank.
One of my favorite campgrounds to stay at. A nice dog park and disc golf course down the road, great walking and bike paths. Beautiful nature with Sandhill Cranes everywhere.
Campgrounds are very nice. Especially nice is the washing station by the showers and bathrooms to clean dishes. Only problem is that in a tent you can hear all the traffic on the bounding streets and some of the neighbors (outside the park) can be noisy late at night. But great location for camping and as a base in the Madison area. There bike trails connect all the way to the university and capital.
A wonderful county park. Excellent bathrooms and showers. Quiet at night.
