I have stayed at different KOAs & this one was bad. The heater in the glamping tent is just for show, it doesn’t heat anything up. The fire stove inside doesn’t warm anything up either. They sold us wood & fire starters obviously more expensive than in stores & the fire didn’t even catch for us and for other campers as well. Their hospitality is terrible. I had asked beforehand and expressed concerns about the tent possibly being too cold and they told me there’s heaters in the tent. Wish i knew they didn’t work & the office closes at 5. Never again. The bedding they provide as well is super thin so no luck staying warm. Pack your own stuff, bring your own heaters, your own wood & starters.

Stayed in the basic cabin, and it was as expected. The beds weren't bad and my son was happy there was a TV. The pictures of the campground made it look more exciting then it was. We were very excited to try it the Cafe but it was horrible. Had breakfast for two and it was almost 40.00 had to wait about 30 minutes for the food but that was expected since there was only one person working the Cafe that morning but the food was horrible. It tasted like oil. The location of the koa is amazing. Bearazona was less then 5 minutes away and same with going into town. It was a clean facility and the bathroom and showers were clean it was quite. I was just expecting more.

We did a family trip with kids and grandkids. Our rigs were parked next to each other, so that was great. Such a blast! The activities and amenities for the kids at this KOA...were endless. The staff is wonderful. Everything was clean and well maintained. The sites are pretty close to each other, but no worries for us. An all around fun weekend!

Nice enough KOA but they gouge on everything. Propane is sky high. Laundry machines and dryers must be made of gold. The sites are unlevel which is understandable given the terrain. Other than the prices for services this is a nice KOA. I'd stay here again.

Second time here and it was awesome again! Facilities are very nice, plenty of bathrooms and showers and they are always clean. The customer service is always great. Updated nighttime mini golf was great, new glowing golf balls, new lights on the course and a black light tower made it a lot more fun. Go carts were open this time and were a lot of fun, great track, nice carts. Bounce pillow is always a exciting time for the kids and they had a great time again. The shop always has everything you need while you're there.

We have visited KOAs all over and this has earned its way onto our list of favorites! We booked a quick stopover to see the Grand Canyon and stayed in a basic camping cabin. The cabin was clean when we arrived and the provided fan kept the temperature comfortable for sleeping. The front door and porch faced the national forest which gives you a peaceful outdoorsy feel. What we enjoyed most were all the family activities and fun things to do. Some are free and some cost extra. The cosmic golf was an absolute blast. It does cost extra but the price was definitely worth it. I was impressed with the attention to detail from the glowing golf balls to all of the lights on the course. We played twice!

Really nice campground, a little challenging to navigate a big 5th wheel though. We have a 43ft trailer and it was too long with the tail swing to get into our site but we managed good enough. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The food at the cafe was good and the pool and hot tubs were nice.

The pros: Great location and friendly staff. Also nice store and good activities for the kids. The cons: it feels like everything costs money. Very little is included in the nightly rate you’re paying. We stayed in a water and electric site and the dump site didn’t have a hose with threads so we could flush the tank. The bathrooms are run down. They were clean but look like they haven’t been maintained. The ceiling tiles were stained and holy. Overall the sites are close together and the traffic noise is a bit loud if you’re closer to the freeway. Could be a great place if you weren’t nickel and dimed for everything and if they kept it up a bit better.

This KOA is located in the tall Ponderosa pines, between Williams to the west and Flagstaff to the east. The service was great. We rented Cabin 5 for 2 nights. The cabin contained a heater and TV, which were fine. The cabin windows are not sealed very well. It was windy, and the breeze was coming through the window seal. The mattresses were pleasantly comfortable. We would have no problem staying at this KOA in the future.
