Really liked this place. Campground is nice, but spaces are very close together so zero privacy. The main road is really easy going. Dispersed spots can be large but maybe hard to get a trailer into due to inclines and road conditions (rutting, rocky, bumpy?) Views are really pretty. Extremely dusty area, wind was strong and threw dust everywhere. Dispersed areas are garbage sites.... diapers, bullet casings, toilet paper, poop, broken bottles. Really sad... please pack out what you pack in.. its really not that hard. I know some people just do not care, but that's how places like this get shut down, rightfully so.

Made it up in my old sedan. The road up was bumpy but manageable. Very dusty though. Really pretty views when staying over night. Beware of the flies!

This is the best free campground I've ever stayed at. Came early on a Friday and there was plenty of spots open that have a picnic table, fire ring, and level drive way. The views are great. Coming back again.

This is probably the best campsite I've ever stayed at. We stayed here for a couple of nights. The views are gorgeous, there are about 6-7 campsites and you can stay here for up to 14 days. The road to the campsite is unpaved and very rocky but it's not bad at all, I've heard of sedans that made it up there. A little side note I would not recommend coming up here when it has rained or when it's about to rain.

What an adventure! This place was well off the beaten path but what a hidden gem! There are 7 sites available, each with a covered picnic table area (with concrete pad) and fire ring. A vault toilet is available. The drive up is an adventure within itself but don’t let that deter you. Waze originally led us to an access gate that doesn’t appear to be in use any longer. I remembered seeing someone post a similar situation so I checked out the map and decided to access Williams Hill via Jolon. Definitely check your GPS and reroute it before you get to the creepy unused access gate - ha. The drive up is via a dirt road that has been very well-kept. A bit bumpy in some areas but that’s to be expected. We did see a pretty large trailer camper on one of the sites, which would have been stressful to drive to me. We arrived in a camper-van and had no problem getting up the dirt road. Two-wheel drive is fine but some of the turns are pretty hair-pin, plus you switchback up, so I’d keep campers as short as possible if you’re towing.
