Williamsburg Campground

Great clean camp ground with a lot of amenities, clean buildings, nice playgrounds and bounce pads. Had great weekend activities. The spots are nice and spaced out. All hookups were safe and organized. Clean bath houses. Centrally located to York River Park and Williamsburg. The staff was very accommodating. We will be back!

Came for the Christmas holiday. Paid full price for no amenities. Sites are messy. So many sites available and they keep putting others right next to you. Grills old and broken. They call our up dated site Elite, it was awful. Nothing is level. We will never come back nor recommend to anyone. We were so looking forward to come and enjoy our holiday and relax.

I would give a 5-star review, but have to give 4 stars because the wifi was a big issue for us. The website advertises wifi but both the wifi and the cell service are non-usable at the campground. We loved our cabin with a queen bedroom and bunk beds! The gated deck as perfect with a dog and dry for eating dinner outside. The pool was nice and clean. Our kids enjoyed the game room and walking the grounds. Overall very nice visit and pretty campground! The tent and RV sites look very nice, too. Has a hilly landscape with flat lots. Loved everything about it except the wifi was a problem. We joked about it being a place for going off the grid, if that’s what you’re looking for :) would love to come back for a shorter visit where wifi wouldn’t be a concern of ours.

Beautiful, very well kept and very clean facilities family owned and operated. This camp grounds offers some amazing cabins! I enjoyed my stay each time I visited there. Friendly people amazing place and lots to explore.

I stayed at the Williamsburg Campground last week for a few days and nights and I loved it. The staff was friendly and professional and the facilities were clean and well lit. I was there with other hunters for a few days hunting at York River State Park for the state sponsored game management hunt. A veterans service organization called Freedom Hunters hosted our stay for three nights and it is my understanding that Williamsburg Campground allowed us to stay there free of charge. THAT kind of gesture is not expected but greatly appreciated. Thank you Williamsburg Campground for hosting our group. Your facilities were fantastic and we appreciate the hospitality.
