Called these folks as I was coming through the Mission valley and they said come on by and I am so glad I did. The property is beautiful. Very low key, surrounded by willow trees. The owner, skip, is the third of five generations living on the property and was as friendly as could be. Supplied me with all the firewood I could need and was great to chat with. Payment is on a sort of honor system, pay what you think the stay was worth in a jar by their front door. It’s worth it.

Sue and Skip have the most beautiful property. Camping underneath the giant willow trees was a treat. You need to be self contained but the outhouse was amazing it was dated 1941 and still had mint condition magazine’s from the 50’s. Peaceful, quiet and a very friendly pup named Sara

Beautiful and relaxing place to set up our tent for the night while passing thru the area. Owner told us a little history of the property (passed down from his father who raised cattle) and why he wants to keep things close to nature. Fire pit and water available.

This was a beautiful campground! Full of huge weeping willows, flowers and a we had a small stream running right behind us. The trees were full of warblers, flycatchers, orioles, etc. and was like a bird sanctuary. Owner Skip saw that I was interested in birds, so took me on a tour of the place in his side by side to see nesting swans, hawks and orioles. It was so nice of him! He told us to walk wherever we'd like. Best part is we had the place completely to ourselves! It is also in close proximity to Ninepipes and the National Bison Range, plus close to Charlo if you need groceries or want to go have a bite to eat. Lovely place with the nicest owners. We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay near a little village with laundromat, gas, groceries etc. It is close to the national bison range too. I went for a couple days and the owners were lovely and helpful, I really enjoyed my stay. There is a little pond to fish, friendly horses to pet, and the property is gorgeous. They do events too.

This campground is beautiful parked out. There are no amenities, but the owners will fill your freshwater tank if you ask. Owners a super nice couple. Our daughter got car sick and threw up on her car seat. After thoroughly rinsing it down, they ran the car seat padding through their dryer to dry it out for us. They don't ask a specific fee, but we made a $30 donation.

I would love to be in touch with the owners to make a reservation inquiry. Tried to call few times from the Netherlands, but the phone number is not working. Can someone please provide another contact method (email)?
