Willow Creek Camping

This place is a gem. Well thought out, well taken care of and CLEAN facilities! Two showers with hot water and two separate toilets there is a large sink for dishes. The owners are very helpful, responsive and super friendly. You cannot beat the views of the moon at night! They are doing lots of improvements so I guess it will just get better and better. We had a small camper van and enjoyed the central location to town and to Big Bend National Park. Note: if you’re pulling in at night for the first time make sure you turn left before the owners trailer on your right. There is an unmarked path that takes you to the back where the different are. Not a lot of signage. Great place to stay!

Perfect location for exploring Terlingua and Big Bend NP with peace and serenity. Gorgeous views, sunsets, sunrises and stars. Amenities if you need them (power, water, bathhouse). Wonderful friendly owner and community. Highly recommend!

I was passing in through Terlingua and noticed this small campground. Decided to check it out for my return trip. Wow! The sites were level and soft packed. They all had electric and water. I also checked out the bathhouse with showers. Rustic. Wrap around porch. The views were beautiful. Short distance to Big Bend National Park. It’s a winner. Definitely on my list.

SUPER campground for Big Bend! 2 miles from park entrance, awesome park host (Rafit) who gave us numerous tips and history of the area, clean bathrooms with great showers, nice sites with hookups and great neighbors like Jane and Cathy!!! Highly recommend the Willow Creek Park if you need a campsite near Big Bend!!!

An excellent and conveniently located campsite! Great views and amenities. The host was very welcoming and helpful. I had a minor brake issue with my vehicle and he went out of his way to help get me back on the road safely. I'm grateful for their help and the cool camping spot!

Awesome camp! We loved the luxury of having a hot shower, real flushable toilets and sinks with running water all while still enjoying tent camping under the stars of the Chihuahuan Desert. The sites were level, soft and the whole camp was very clean and organized. The fire ring was just the right size to make s'mores or a little snack to eat before heading out to Big Bend that was not far at all. Perfect location right next to the town or Terlingua, gas station, dollar general, and a host of restaurants. Our site 1 even had water and electricity. The owner is very nice and attentive and check in was a breeze. Definitely will be returning to this diamond of the desert.

This spot was wonderful for us camping as a family. The ground was soft and easy to put in tent stakes, the picnic table and fire ring were perfect and we had a lot of fun roasting marshmallows. The views are spectacular. Sunrise and sunset were both beautiful. Although it feels very remote, it's only 3 minutes into town where there's a gas station and small grocery store. The bathrooms and showers were clean and functional and they even had a large dishwashing sink. Only tip I have for other campers is to drop your tent during the day while you're gone in case it gets windy. Many thanks to the owners for stopping by and keeping our tent from blowing away! Oh I almost forgot, the bird feeders are a nice touch. We had fun sitting on the porch of the bathhouse and watching the finches and even a flock of quail that came through. Just book this place, you won't regret it.
