Customer Reviews
This place is fantastic. We went mid week and nobody was here almost the entire 3 days we stayed, so we had the whole place to ourselves. We stayed in the little cabin and it was great. Perfect amount of space for 2 adults and 2 kids. The cabin has electricity, a coffee maker, hot plate, and a small fridge if you need it. There is drinking water provided and a propane stove for cooking outside on one of the picnic tables. Our daughter did a fun pony ride with the owner leading the nice older pony around. The owner's coonhound will often come over to visit you and ask for some belly rubs. It's a great spot to watch the big jets land and take off from Fairchild AFB, there are nice hammocks and a tree swing to enjoy in the camping area as well.
I would not recommend booking this Airbnb. We arrived late in the evening to find the tent filled with spiders and insects. Despite the host’s claim that it had been cleaned thoroughly, the large number of bugs made it clear that may not have been the case. When we reached out to Rachael for assistance, her response was less than professional. Instead of offering help, she became defensive and dismissed our concerns, even basically calling us “wimps” for being uncomfortable with the bugs. To make matters worse, she tried to prevent me from leaving a review, claiming it was retaliation for our feedback. AirBnB ended up taking my review down because of that. After a frustrating and unpleasant experience, I ended up having to drive 3 hours back home in the middle of the night. This was a very disappointing stay, and I would advise others to think twice before booking here.
Rude owner. Bad place. Uneven ground. Hard to find. Pricey for what you get. Do not recommend.
Willow Creek Retreat is an amazing little bit of relaxing paradise. It’s quiet, private and thoughtful touches have been added around the property. Lots of shade, fire pits, chairs, hammocks-makes for a perfect camping experience! Thank you for a wonderful trip Rachel. We will be back!!
What a hidden gem! If you love animals, you will LOVE this place. The host, Rachel, is an extremely kind and considerate person. A lot of effort has gone into this simple yet peaceful and charming place, and it shows!
