Great place to camp and visit Yosemite! Basic bathrooms but it worked out for us. The sound of the river is amazing at night. Just be cautious around the rocks near the camp because there is rattle snakes in the area. Neighbor next to us killed one while we were there.
Great campsite near the Merced river. Awesome location and lovely views of the mountain side and river. Clean area, and restroom accessible. I will say, you will need bug spray for wasps and flies but the wasps are not aggressive, and the flies do bite and they're pesty especially with food around so make sure to have food covers and Tupperware ready to store your food. There is a bbq pit but use at your own discretion, I recommend your own little bbq set up but if you want you can use the pit to have a fire at night.
We loved our time here. Beautiful campground, stayed in a walk-in site(#16). Bathroom was clean, all sites had a bit of shade, some more than others. The water felt like bath water b/c it was 100 degrees all 3 days we were there. Better to go early (preferably on a weekday) to get a site as it's filling up more quickly these days. Saw a psychedelic blue-tailed skink and a million dragonflies.
Really cool place to camp. bathroom was clean spaces were a little on the smaller side but still big enough for our 11 person tent. Sites fill up fast so get there early. Only con and the reason for 4 stars wasps wasps and more wasps I think it was just around campsite 14 didn’t see many in the other sites
Great spot to camp and swim all day also there is fish in the water
