  • "Conveniently located off the 1, it offers 30 and 15 amp in the middle strip as you enter, but has many more unserviced in the wooded area. There are clean showers run with tokens that you must purchase during a limited time in the evenings. The laundry facility is handy. Doing day trips from this camp is super convenient when all other campgrounds are full. The mountains in Bow Valley are quite stunning."
  • "Visited for the long weekend on FCFS basis. We had a delightful experience, this being our first FCFS camping. It was pretty easy to find a spot, service was excellent and we loved the showers for winding down. They were periodically cleaned. Overall great service!"

Highway noise very loud, but we still like it here if ylwe are unable to book anywhere else. We do dry camping, no hookups. Washrooms usually clean but this time showers were in rough shape. Wood price is reasonable with respect to other places. We are going to try to get into the lower loop/trees next time to see if the noise is less.

Great little spot we ended up at because 3 sisters' campground was full. Turns out this is a hidden gem. It has a ton of sites with great natural shade and a hiking trail! Great little spot, will definitely be going back.

The campground is wonderful. We just stayed there for the 3rd time. Location is about 20 mins from Canmore. Highway noise can be a bit to get used to but the staff that work there, the cleanliness of the vault bathrooms and comfort stations is unmatched to anywhere else we've been. The sites on the loops are wonderfully treed and are quite private.
