One of our favorite campgrounds we've ever been to. It was a great mixture of nature and amenities. We absolutely loved the many trails for our mountain bike and electric wheelchair. They were also accessible for walking and golf carts. They were the biggest pull through sites we have ever seen. So much open space and beautifully kept grounds. Lots of amenities for kids and adults including a white sand beach on the lake with inflatable obstacles (not open bc we were there in winter). We will definitely be back and appreciated the extremely friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend Willow Tree.
Though our friends have stayed at Willow Tree numerous times, it was our first visit. We had such a lovely time, and the campground was terrific. Paved spacious sites with full hookups. The bath house has individual rooms that are fully tiled, lovely and very clean. There is a large pond with a nice paved trail all around it. There are additional trails through the wooded areas that my friends enjoyed taking their e-bikes on. Although the pool was closed for the season, it looked fantastic. The hot tub was still open. It is large and my friends very much enjoyed it. It was a bit too chilly for me to want to go in. All of the workers were pleasant and friendly. Great text notification when they had to turn the water off briefly to do a repair on our row. We were there over Thanksgiving and the campground hosted a lovely potluck dinner. Campers provided all of the sides and desserts while the campground provided the turkey and ham. What a fantastic meal it was! I look forward to returning to this lovely campground. My only regret is I didn't go there sooner!
The sites are awesome. We travel in a 43’ coach and pull a 30’ trailer with our truck. The site can accommodate us with no problem. If I was going to ask for any improvement, it would be that they install a walkway from the door at the front of our coach back to the patio. As is, we exit the coach and walk on the grass to get to the patio. Same for when we walk back. If the grass is damp, we tend to track the grass inside.
We stayed this passed weekend for our very first time in our very first RV and had a blast! It was a little chilly but we had a great time still. All kinds of trails to explore and games to play, we even enjoyed the hot tub. The bath houses were very nice and clean. The entire facility was beautiful and spotless! I actually tried to book our next trip even before we left but those June dates were already taken. We will be returning as soon as we can!
I store my RV at Willow Tree and frequently stay overnight to prep for camping trips. The campground is a beautiful property, well designed for maneuvering RVs, spacious and pleasant. Staff is always courteous, customer focused and very accommodating. Facilities are clean and very well maintained. Hookups always work well and are conveniently located. Wifi works well and OTA reception is pretty good. Verizon cell reception is minimal. Though I haven't participated in their planned events yet, they seem to do a great job of planning, hosting and decorating for them. Very nice wash pad and dump station for washing and maintaining campers. On-site propane fills. What's not to like? Happy camping!
