Was a quick stop for the night but comfortable and cozy. Camp hosts were awesome. Good restaurant close by. Hopefully we will go back and spend a few days in the future!
We rented the Chinook cabin for a few days. The cabin was clean and provided the basics for our stay. You do need to bring linens - recommend a king-size mattress pad and sheets since the mattress is deep. I brought food I could heat in the microwave or easily prepare on the 2 burner cooktop. There is a pull out sofa, space is limited, so this would be okay for small kids, in my opinion. There is a toilet and shower - no vanity. You will have to brush your teeth using the kitchen sink. Not a deal breaker, you have access to the RV Park bathrooms, which are well appointed. There are signs that crab/seafood is not to be cooked inside the cabin. This would be for the lingering smell and the next person renting the cabin. We cooked our crab outside, so not an issue. You have a nice covered porch with chairs and a picnic table in an uncovered area overlooking the marina. The office staff were very friendly and assisted us when booking our next stay. The RV campground will be 8 additional cabins for rental. This is a great addition since the cabins seem to book up quickly.
This place is so great. The staff is friendly and everything is clean. The WiFi isn’t shaky and streaming is flawless. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our second stay here. I can’t wait to come by again. Tips: The halibut fish n chips and clam chowder at Crabby’s are a real treat. The showers are better in the newest section of the park. No “push button” as you go.
The park was easy to find. It is located on a spit of land just a short distance from highway 101. There is pavement all the way including the interior roads. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic and are policed. The interior roads are paved and in very good condition. Our site, 128 was a Concrete pull through that was plenty long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30/50 amp, water and sewer only) were to the left side. Cable TV is normally available but the service was interrupted during our stay. Distancing is fair for a rural park. There are NO vegetation privacy barriers between sites. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was very neatly manicured and pleasant top look at. We did not use the park included wifi. The cable TV was temporarily out of order. We did not find any OTA channels. Satellite will not be difficult. We did not use the washrooms, showers or laundry facilities but we checked and found them clean and modern. There is a shore side trail that runs the full length of the property. Be aware, it is for pedestrian travel only, No bicycles, scooters, skate boars or any other means of transportation. from the park There are a few restaurants within walking distance and just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be a very nice overnighter. I wish we could have stayed longer. We paid $47.00 per night and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area again.
Nice park in a great location in the bay. The sites are quite narrow, though. The games and amenity room is nothing but a conference room. Great laundry and shower houses. It would be nice if they enforced the 5MPH limit. Having kids, speeding trucks in a campground is a constant irritant.
