Windmill Family Campground

I recently went there for the last week of august and the place was great. It was very clean and and the bathrooms were cleaned every morning. However, the front counter/shop worker was very rude. She gave us attitude when we asked if the golf cart could be rented and gave other children attitude when they wanted to buy candy. I didn’t appreciate the treatment they gave but other wise everything else was great!

We rented cabin 1. I was told it was the oldest cabin. I understand, however, since the cabin is still being rented, i feel that it still needs attention regardless of how old it is. For example, the cabin is small BUT, there are no hooks to hang sweaters or towels. Also, there is no shelf to store groceries. The small fridge needs to be replaced as the door is already rusty. The floor needs mopping as it is full of dust under the bed. Again, i feel like they have taken for granted this cute little cabin. Corners are full of spider webs, we had to clean and spray the corners. All these small details could make this little cabin more interesting. Or maybe just renovate the whole thing otherwise, put some hooks and small shelves on the wall. The washrooms also need hooks to hang towels while showering. Otherwise, all other cabins are nice and new. We still had fun, we tried to make it work.

Great place! Many cabins and sites to set up at. Bring your own linens! Some of the cabins have AC and some have toilets. There is very strong wifi that reaches to most parts of the campground. The cabins are very cozy and are clean. They even come with fly swatters! Would definitely come again.

My family and I camped here for a weekend and we had so much fun! There was plenty for the kids to do. The camp grounds were maintained very well. The staff was very helpful and really nice, and so was everyone at the park. Everyone would say hi and wave. The camp sites are a good size and well maintained. The pool and the pool area was clean and looked good. The washrooms were clean. It was just a great experience all around! They have events all the time as well. So there is always something to do.

I loved my stay here. It’s a very well kept campground with huge, spacious sites - whether you like canopy cover or open, it’s fantastic. The service staff are so friendly and accommodating... it was really a great experience. I’d just like to really emphasize that point.
