Nice little campground. However, we must give it a 2. Here are the pros and cons: PROS: 1. Clean 2. Reasonably priced 3. Nice people 4. Very quiet. CONS: 1. NO FULL HOOK UPS! Water & Electric at sites only. You have to use the dump station on your way out. They advertise full hook ups. They do NOT have full hook ups at any of the spots there. 2. Verizon Cell Service has ZERO signal there. My cell was on SOS the entire week. We had to drive 7 minutes down the road to get a signal. 3. 1 lane bridges and the 1 lane road that leads into the campground were nerve wracking to pull a camper on. We initially thought the road was a one way! In some spots the pavement is built up at least 2' high! So there is no option to pull over onto the grass to allow another person to pass without the possibility of causing damage to your vehicle and/or rig. 4. A handful of different dogs were allowed to run loose the entire week we were there. From what we could tell, at least 2 of them belonged to the owners/managers. We kept finding dog poop around our site. Not cool. We hate to give this campground a 2 because the campground was mostly clean and the people were nice. But we must be honest to warn others who will expect a full hook-up, a cell phone signal, a safe road to enter, and pets to be leashed as the rules there demand.

I was nervous cause it was my first time really being outdoors and nature for a long period of time. When I tell you, I had nothing to worry about I was so impressed by everything this campground had to offer. They had lit the cleanest I’ve ever seen bathhouse cleaner than like the best restaurants that was actually comfortable enough to use the bathroom normally and take a shower. it was enclosed a nice safe location every morning and evening mountain breeze and crisp. Plenty of space for picnics and barbecue. I stayed in RV and some of my family stayed in the cabin. Both were extremely cool and comfortable during the extreme summer heat. I cannot praise this location. I highly recommend anyone who wants to take a Rzr outside and ride around the campground, or just experiencing family time out in nature. 11/10 I would recommend again.

We have camped at the Gap many times, and it’s always a great experience. We have rented the bunk houses (this week) as well as the camp spots a few times and we enjoyed both. Bunk houses were clean, and came with a heater and AC. Great location, laid back atmosphere and we love getting to see the dog.

Amazing host, comfortable cabins at a great price. Cleaner bathrooms I've ever seen. 10/10 would stay again and have many times before!

Very friendly people all around. Very clean facilities. Some campers weren't cleaning up after themselves as far as animal waste, but not a huge deal. There were A LOT of ATVs when we were there and they all respected the quiet time. Very accommodating owners and nice little mountain view. Worth staying again. Thanks y'all!
