We loved it at windy cove. It was our first time there. The manager of the park was really nice too. The dunes are just down the road and the beach is about a mile doen the road too. We will definitely go back.
It's a great park with full rv hook up, showers on site for guests, great staff. Real close to crab pier and charter boats. Lots of great birds, eagles, lesser finches, sunbirds, ducks, geese, heron, osprey, crows, and seagulls of course.
We camp here a lot, and I have to say this time (4/28-30),the camp hosts were the most pleasant and kept the place so clean. The bathrooms and the campsites were immaculate and we really enjoyed the trip.
It's an OK place to stay if you're here for the fishing. But the campground it self is just dead grass and back in spaces.. Restrooms weren't kept very well, And the sewer connection for many people's campers backed up not good at all.. Although I don't think it's a common occurrence.
Lots of fisherman, harbored ships and crabbers on yhe Jetty realing in their Dungeness crabpot bounty
