The grounds were very clean. The rangers were very nice. Has fully working bathrooms with showers and a playground for the kids. Also very easy to load and unload your boat from the many different docks
Great camping area. Dry camping no hookups. The views, wildlife, fishing are all spectacular. Take lots of drives around the lake and surrounding mountains.
Had a great camping experience!! Campgrounds are in great shape! There was a camper near by who had a super loud generator and camphost "Joe" spoke to them for me. Also met camphost "Donna" who was keeping the bathrooms clean. Very nice spot. Very nice hosts.
Great boat launch with ample parking at the southeast end of Lake Roosevelt. We motored out about 2500 feet and anchored for lunch. 3 huge Bass jumping right next to our boat. Ample camping opportunities as well. This is the largest water reservoir in Arizona. 85% full presently.
Was there for a night astro shoot. Pretty good location for astrophotography - just a bit light pollution emitted from Globe in distance. Here are a couple of mine.
