The close to the driveway to the lake, I was thinking, would be a great place to put my inflatable kayak. But it's very far from the lake. If they leave the gate open, you can drive up and drop off your kayak. That would be an awesome place for kayak fishing.

These people and this establishment is probably the one of the best I’ve seen in Austin in a very long time they’re always making people happy and a safe controlled environment for the entire family satisfaction is completely guaranteed. I get this place five stars because they are the best when it comes to camping grounds.

Crappy place. All rocks. People are jerks. Park permits should be available at Lake Travis for all surrounding areas of the Austin area instead of just Travis county if not available to all Texas residents. Too much private and charge places in parks in general around all lakes and parks in Central Texas, especially considering the high taxes we pay to live here. Maybe they could at least open access to the point so we could at least get closer to the water. The water access has always been terrible even when there was water. Personally I plan on leaving the Austin area because of issues like this.

This is my favorite lakeside park in Austin and I’ve been coming here for years! They are open later then city run parks, meaning you actually get to enjoy the sunset with many comfortable spots to relax. The recent renovations that have been made are amazing and they are really headed in a good direction. A little bit of marketing and this place will be a top spot in Texas in no time! Love it!

Beautiful view! Lots of lawn chairs on a small deck, on the grass, picnic tables, even a porta potty! Lots of room to throw a ball, kick a soccer ball around. Close to the water. Outdoor chess board, connect four! Great place for a date!
