Lots of large nice campsites right on the water. Check my YT channel outdoormary if you want to see a full tour of all the sites and see which ones are the best.

Wow! We only stayed 2 nights ( #75), we enjoyed everything about this place! The deer that greeted us as we were driving in :) the quiet & peace, the views of the lake, the cleanliness, the privacy of the spots, the friendliness of Nannette. The ONLY thing unacceptable is that it's not year round! We have to wait until spring to go back!

What a lovely clean campground on Strom Thurmond Lake. Nice spacios sites on the lake. Most sites you can pull your boat and park at your campsite. There is a boat launch. Lot of loop sites where you pull thru. Electric and water hookups and a dump station.

Great place to camp. The site had water as well as electricity. Campers have to be self-contained but there is water and electric hookups. Campers with tents can use there bathhouse with showers and facilities. The lake is beautiful and most campsites have access to the lake.

I stayed at Winfield Campground for 2 nights at #73. It was so peaceful and I felt perfectly safe being a lone female with her dog. It was amazing with the water front campsite. The attendants were absolutely wonderful. My battery died and Ms Tonya came and rescued me for which I am extremely grateful. You rock!
