Wingate by Wyndham Kanata West Ottawa

I feel that the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The Front Desk staff welcomed us as if we were family. Their concern that we stay safe, from a storm that was going through the area, was heartfelt and made us feel that we really did matter to them. We were welcomed in and allowed to stay in the lobby until our room was ready. They continually checked on us to make sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything. We have never stayed at a place where we truly felt cared for like this, it was amazing and made us feel so loved. We ate right in the hotel and the food was absolutely amazing as well.

Hotel has everything needed. Very comfortable bed! Rooms very clean and tidy. We were there while a kids hockey was there so was little loud in common area but overall very nice staff and hotel. Will definitely be back!

We stayed at the Wingate for a hockey tournament and had a great experience. The staff were friendly, check in was easy and the rooms were very clean. The breakfast was really good for a hotel breakfast. Hotel is close to the highway and lots of restaurants. Highly recommend!

The hotel was better than I expected. Bright and clean, very friendly reception and staff. Breakfast had a great selection, pool is a bright clean area, warm, and a nice hot tub. We went for a staycation during the world Junior hockey championships and faced the Canadian Tire Centre. It was a lovely experience, kids want to go back.

This was my 6th stay at Wingate Kanata, and it continues to exceed expectations. We always stop here on our way to Quebec because of the clean facilities, warm pool, friendly staff and satisfying free breakfast. Unfortunately, my daughter became sick on the second night of our stay, so we extended our stay for another night to decide whether to continue to Quebec or cancel our trip. The location is incredibly convenient, with everything nearby. We easily ordered food through Uber and even did some grocery shopping. Linda at the reception desk truly stood out—she showed genuine care, remembered my kids' names, and frequently checked in on them. Her kindness made our extended stay feel much more comfortable. The housekeepers were also so friendly and welcoming that it felt like a second home. This exceptional level of care and hospitality is why I’ll always return. Thank you so much! We will be back for sure
