Wingate by Wyndham Wisconsin Dells

Best hotel in the dells for young kids! Clean, affordable, comfortable. We are so happy with our stay and will be back! I can’t stress how clean it was- in the 6 hours my kids spent in the pool area, they cleaned something no less than 8 times. Amazing place! We loved it here.

We really like this hotel! they have a nice indoor pool and have a slide for kids as well. Only one thing to concern is the breakfast time, their breakfast time is from 6:30-9:00 am, after that they clear up quickly and you can get nothing (they will remove the hot dishes and waffle maker quickly).

Complete Scam! Booked a room for Saturday and upon arrival the property canceled our room. We had booked a room (the last room available) that had a jacuzzi and fireplace, we brought our 1yr old son and due to liability of our son they had to cancel our reservation… understand BUT there was no where did it state there were age restrictions for the room (obviously we wouldn’t have paid the $214 if there were age restrictions). We asked if they were going to refund our money and they said since it was through 3rd party (Booking.com) we needed to take it up with them. Fine… I call Booking.com and explain the situation. The call person from Booking.com looks into the situation and agrees, there was nowhere that it stated this was an age restricted room - the property even asked if we wanted a crib in the room and for what age child. Weird. The man from Booking.com sent a special request to the property to waive the cancelation fee ($199) due to the misinformation this property had about their rooms. I’m sitting on the phone with Booking.com and they tell me to ask the property to check the email and respond ASAP so I am trying to communicate with the property and Booking.com to assure I get my well deserved refund. The staff then started to walk away from the front desk - the younger worker with glasses made it clear there was another worker hiding around the corner (clearly making jokes about the situation). To find out the property had declined the special request and we were not issued our full refund. Through all of this mess the property happened to charge our card AGAIN for $168 (rate for a room)? The whole situation was handled so poorly and the management at this place clearly hates his job. I will never stay at another Wyndham hotel again. SCAMMERS!!

Enjoyed our stay the pool and hot tub is open 24 hours was very nice. The breakfast was very good and plenty of tables. Our room was very nice and spacious the bed was very comfortable. The only problem is the carpet in our room had 2 big dirt spots right in the middle of the walkway. Location was perfect for our stay. We would stay here again.

Great Place to stay! The pool area was clean, warm, and fun for all ages! The rooms were spacious, clean, beds are comfy, and plenty of towels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
