Winom Campground & Trailhead Introduce
Welcome to Winom Campground & Trailhead, situated in Oregon and listed under the Campgrounds & RV Parks platform. This campground is highlighted for its spaciousness and suitability for various camping setups, including RVs, trailers, tents, and hammocks.
According to visitor reviews, Winom Campground offers "plenty of space for everything." It is particularly appealing to ATV and dirt bike riders due to the presence of numerous trails in the surrounding area. For those seeking a quieter experience, it's possible to find open spots on the far side of the campground. The facilities include clean porta potties, and each campsite is equipped with a fire pit and a table, along with ample parking. Firewood can be found scattered around, or bundles can be purchased in Ukiah for $5 before arriving.
The campground operates without running water, but a stream runs along the backside, although it can be swampy with high water levels. The camping fee was reported to be $10 for one night. One visitor noted that during a Thursday night in June, only three or four campsites were occupied, suggesting it might not always be crowded. While no campground host was present during that visit, rabbits are commonly seen around the area.
However, a cautionary note mentions that "trees are growing very close together," posing a potential "huge fire hazard." Visitors are advised to be careful and plan ahead. As part of the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, Winom Campground & Trailhead offers a range of features, especially for those interested in off-road vehicle activities and spacious camping. For local users in Taiwan planning a trip to Oregon, this campground provides an affordable option with ample space and access to trails, but it's important to be aware of the lack of running water and the potential fire risk due to the dense tree growth. No specific promotional offers were mentioned in the provided reviews.

Great campground with plenty of space for everything -- RVs, trailers, tents, hammocks, etc. It caters to ATV and dirt bike riders, with many trails in the area. We just went to camp and found a spot that was open on the other side of the campground so it was quiet. The campground is clean, the porta potties are clean. There is no running water. There is a stream that runs along the backside of the campground but the water was very high and everything around it was swampy. Each campground has a fire pit and a table with lots of parking. We found plenty of firewood just scattered around the campground, but you can buy a bundle in Ukiah before heading up the road for $5. The camp fee was only $10 for one night. We were there on a Thursday night in June and there were only three or four campsites occupied. No campground host was present. Lots of rabbits scampering around but they are very afraid of people.
Trees are growing very close together. Huge fire hazard in the near future. Be careful for sure. Plan ahead.
