I would say a pretty standard KOA experience! Which is a good thing! Excellent customer service, our cabin was clean when we got there and easy to find. There is a pre-nice playground and inflatable bounce pad for the kids. It’s also on the river in case you wanna fish. Although I’m not sure if the fishing is any good. Five minute drive to town. 15 minute bike ride to town. Walking distance to the grocery store, coffee shop, pizza place. Definitely one of our favorite KOA places to stay.

This place used to be great and well cared for under the previous owners. I have brought my family here for the last ten years every June. This year we arrived to a giant wasp nest on the front porch right by the door. My son was stung multiple times and the staff didn’t care or address the concern. I would avoid this place until they get new ownership. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Out of all the staff we met one was nice. Believe it or not it’s the “older generation” staff that are rude. The manager is very rude and staff also laugh and make fun of customers in plain view of other customers. Would recommend a different camp ground than this joke.

We stayed here for two nights on a recent mountain biking holiday. We were greeted warmly when we arrived. The pool was closed but we had been informed of this prior to our arrival. This RV Park is a great location for accessing the bike trails near Sun Mountain. Our site # F002 was spacious and there was some shade. The lawn was obviously being watered because it was quite green. Super quiet location and conveniently located to Winthrop and its many activities. Heather and Bill

I was so surprised by this place. The RV sites are nice and large. All come with a fire pit. Check in after hours was simple . The help were very friendly and we were a 5 minute drive to town. Weather was gorgeous during the day and chilly at night (Oct). I have already informed family that we will all be making a trip back in the spring. They have darling little cabins to rent. And even have stagecoach rentals with a queen bed, heat and AC. So cute!
