Booked 2 cabins last minute to join family camping with their RV. Great place to get away close to home. The little cabins were cute and quant. The entire campground was lovely and the park was beautiful this time of year. We will come back again.
Nice campground. A little fat from the interstate, but it was quiet, level spaces. Would stay there again.
We spent a week camping over the 4th with family and it was fantastic!!! Facilities were cleaned and maintained several times a day. Park staff were friendly very helpful with information on weather, places to go to see fireworks and sight see. We can't say enough great things about Tony the camp host. In all the years of camping we have never had a host come to our sight and introduce themselves and offer assistance if needed. He walked the campground everyday just to check on everyone. He also was so friendly, we had many conversations with him during our stay. Wonderful man and a fantastic host like no other!!!!
I've lived near here my whole life and just got around to camping here. This is a gem of place, especially if you like birds. We saw lots of birds including herons and an EAGLE that is nesting there! How cool! We fished and caught lots of fish. There is kayaking and canoeing available although we didn't do that. There's a launch right in the campground as well if you're bringing your own. The camp store is nice. The roads and sites are great. The only thing it'd warn about is the noise of the highway/city. I wouldn't down grade the review as I know this is in a city, but next time I'll bring some ear plugs to help cut out the traffic and train sounds. Overall I'd definitely come back. Beautiful trees, nature, lake, and clean bathhouse made for a great little getaway. Will definitely come back.
Love this campground! I take my 92 year old Dad and it’s easy for him to get around. It’s quiet, clean, friendly people. Pet friendly. So close to all the activities Winton Woods has to offer.
Really pretty and quiet location. Pull through and back in sites. Nice area for an evening stroll. The campground has a security gate which I like. Takes about 20 minutes to get to downtown. Lots of grocery stores and other shopping along the way.
we come here often. They campground was refreshed a while ago. its not near what it was..much better. Be sure to ask about the "Adults Only" section when you arrive. Free pizza and beer on friday nites. We drive in t=from the neighborrhoods for this alone. We have paddled our kayak across the lake to join in as well..GREAT TIME. See you all soon.
Spring break in the Hamilton County Great Parks! It got down to 35⁰ but the kids still had a blast.
