Well kept grounds and facilities. Lots of family friendly activities. Bible-based teaching and worship. Cherished by families from all over Wisconsin for decades.
The rules are ridiculous. My dogs got heat stroke because they were not allowed to be in the rooms and stuck out in the kennels the whole time. They claim their “dog friendly” but yet are so strict on them and clearly don’t care about the dogs well-being either. The cabins were awful there was bed bugs in most of the beds and the beds were terrible to sleep on. Definetly not coming back here. We also got a false complaint about our dogs barking all night when we slept in our cars because they have separation anxiety and were not even outside at all the whole night
Friendly and helpful staff and Volunteers help with any needs that you may have. A Positive experience.
I absolutely LOVE this place!! It has to be the best place I've ever been and my most favorite place on earth!! I always have AMAZING experiences with God there and feel the move of His Spirit so powerfully. It is not just a campground, it is HOLY GROUND, blessed and anointed, trodden on by the feet of angels, and touched by the hand of God. It might seem strange to say it that way but if you ever go there and have an experience like I did, you'll understand. It is literally like a piece of heaven on earth! And I really mean literally.
A fabulous camp to share with family and friends! Dynamic guest speakers, talented volunteer musicians from many sister churches, and Spirit-led worship leaders all around!!! Many that serve here inspire us to love Jesus and share the gospel! Whether it be the youth camps with loads of energy or the Family Camp with strong Biblical teaching coupled with relevant ministry training for this time we live in, so thankful to be part of this district! Family Camp: Really enjoyed the tent campsites: large, flat, and grassy with well-cared for trees and grounds. Meeting up with friends... Volleyball and basketball courts, Frisbee and miniature golf courses. Golf carts are so helpful on the grounds too. Youth Camps: Excellent speakers chosen for these services and include powerful praise, worship, and prayer. Daily variety of fun late night activities. Don't forget the solid meals, yummy snack stand menu (especially the nitro coffee), and new friendships. There's plenty of seating for services and meals; some buildings are slightly rustic but properly functional; thorough sanitation provided with every camp. Serving on staff has been a highlight of every summer for the past 5+years.
