Well maintained campground, so many well labeled trails for all ages and different skill levels. Gorgeous views!!! Campsites have options for electric and non. Not right on top of your neighbors, so that’s really nice and adds to the peacefulness. Canoe and kayak rentals as well as tennis and basketball courts and playgrounds throughout. The road was well maintained throughout the park, bikers and drivers can easily share the road way. Will definitely be returning!!!
Breathtakingly beautiful views from busy, but scenic campsites directly on the ridge. Highly recommend if you enjoy amazing vantages and a lot of company on the campsite itself. Not very private, but that’s ok. Sites are large enough for ~6 people and multiple vehicles. Bugs were almost nonexistent during our early autumn trip. A must visit state park.
Fantastic place, sites are small but views are impressive. Stay away with trailers over 30' as sites are not capable to handle, nor the camp roads (very tight). Decent bathroom building too.
One of my favorite campgrounds I’ve stayed at. I camped alone and felt super safe. The showers are individual rooms which is SO nice. The bathrooms and showers were pretty clean for a campsite, I was pleasantly surprised. Staying on the ridge side of the campground was SO cool. The absolute best views. Not a ton of privacy but it was okay!
This place is more than just awesome! The views are spectacular. The staff are super nice and helpful! Many trails for all types of hikers, even cyclists. Be prepared for the bugs ofc but easily managed.
