Wishing Well Rv Resort Introduce
Wishing Well RV Resort is a charming destination for travelers seeking a cozy stay in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. This family-friendly facility welcomes guests with RV sites and cozy cabins, ideal for both leisurely visits and extended stays.
Nestled at N551 Wishing Well Ln, the resort offers picturesque surroundings with a variety of amenities to cater to all ages. During Halloween, guests can enjoy themed activities, adding a spooky yet delightful touch to their stay. The property features playgrounds and a seasonal swimming pool, providing fun for children and relaxation for adults.
Guest feedback highlights both positive and constructive experiences. Many appreciate the resort's responsiveness to minor issues and the friendly staff. However, some visitors noted a run-down appearance in recent years and issues during events like the carnival weekend, which were disorganized and led to dissatisfaction due to late starts, overpriced games, and poor-quality prizes.
Pricing at $85 per night plus fees without sewer access may seem high for some. While Wishing Well once met expectations, it now faces competition from more updated facilities, prompting some guests to explore other options.

It was a wonderful place to stay. We rented a cabin and when we had a couple minor problems they came quickly and fixed them. The Halloween weekend theme was great. The kids, and my sister and I, loved it. We had plenty to do and it kept us busy. The kids loved the playgrounds too. Thank you to all the staff. They were friendly and helpful. I will be looking into the spring and fall specials for next year.
We have been going here for years and in the past it's been good. The past 2 years it seems to be getting run down. A lot of the things could be upgraded or refreshed. We were their for the carnival weekend and it was very disorganized. We left the pool to go for the 2 hour period they had it running. It didn't start till around 30 minutes late. They didn't have enough staff to run it and no one seemed to have a clue of what to do. I was told the games were 1 ticket. That was wrong, they charged 5 tickets for poorly made carnival games. The prizes the kids one looked like either they had a stuffed animal drive or purchased from good will. They were used! So I wasted $20 for my kids to play a total of 5 games to get 2 used stuffed animals. That was ridiculous. The games should of been $1 so kids can play them for a while. Many parents were upset. Our group of 4 families will look for a new place to camp next year since none of us were happy with Wishing Well this year. If we paid around $50 bucks for this place it would be more worthwhile but at $85 a night plus all the fees for a sight with no sewer is a little crazy for that area. Used to better it's a shame.
If I could rate zero stars I would. Let me start by saying this used to be a lovely campground when it was Jellystone. I have been a seasonal there since 2016. The campground was sold recently and under new management. They have implemented ridiculous fees and rates that change on a moments notice and if you disagree with Jeremy the manager, he kicks you out because he can anytime without reason because he’s a bully. You need to obey him or else. Warning to anyone looking to become a seasonal there. Go elsewhere and avoid this place at all costs.
We drove 854 miles to arrive to a campsite flooded. Well, they did put hay down, like that would magically make it go away. The maintenance guy promised to drop stones down the following morning. They never did, so I called the office. They had promised to check into it and call me back. No call back and no stones. So, if you like mud, this is the place to go. We could only use half the campsite and tip toe around mud for a week. My main issue is, if you promise a customer, do it!! Also, If you like cars zooming through the campground and golf carts, this is the place for you. Garbage is everywhere...cans, water bottles, wrappers, etc...I've never seen such a dirty campground.
Looks like a nice place to camp for a few weeks this is a place especially set up for kids… For a single night stay or two it was OK but all of their places are back in and very few have septic. It looked like there are quite a few spots that are for Park models or for people that have rented the spot for the Season with their trailer… Lots of big shade trees and grassy areas every spot looked like it had a picnic table, Water and power…. septic is on the way out or you can rent blue trailer for septic… Sorry, I forgot to take pictures
