Customer Reviews
We LOVED our experience at Wolf Lodge. Eric and his staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating. The cabin we stayed in was cute, clean, and better than we even thought it might be. The grounds were clean and tidy with some activities for our kids. Our son loved casting his line into the stream that ran through the property. Right outside of the campground, the views were incredible with lots of opportunities for hiking and other activities. In fact, the staff gave us a very detailed list of several of the hikes and what to expect for each. Overall, just a great place for our family to experience Idaho!
We stayed at the Wolf Lodge Campground twice In a two week period during our travel to and from Montana. This was a great halfway point in both directions. The first stay was for two nights over a weekend and we were pleased at how well maintain the facility is and the staff being super friendly. This is a very family friendly and pet friendly place to camp. We were gone most of the day on Saturday while we visited friends and did some sightseeing. We had no concerns regarding safety and security while we were gone. The second visit was just for an overnighter on our way home. When we arrived, we asked if we could switch to a pull-through spot. Which we did get. It made it easier to stay hooked up and ready to leave first thing in the morning to beat the heat and the traffic. We will definitely keep Wolf Lodge Campground on our list when we do travel through to Montana in the future.
Awesome trip, such a beautiful place with so many fun things to do! Loved the games and little movie nights the camp would throw! Sadly the toilets were out of order this trip but hopefully They'll be back up and running soon! The only thing Is I wish the bathrooms and showers were a little cleaner with better water pressure and hot water! All of our showers were lukewarm/cold with barely any pressure!
We loved our stay at Wolf Lodge Campground. It is easily accessible and has good shade. Our grandchildren loved playing on the playground and swings. There are lots of activities to enjoy at the campground. It is just a few miles into Coeur d'Alene which we really liked.
Okay, the location is very convenient, but it is a frontage road separated from the freeway, so it is really loud. All night. The "creek" is an irrigation canal. There are steps to it and they said it goes to the lake, but it seems sus. The showers and restrooms were clean. The grassy area is nice. The parking was a bit wonky and it seems it would be tricky when the site is more full.
