Beautiful site. Quiet and so very clean. Cathy and her husband were very helpful and friendly. Electric available. Please remember, it’s pack in pack out. People who left as we were arriving were chain smokers with litter and cigarette butts all over. Camp hosts very helpful with cleaning, even though we were early. Great stay!

Beautiful & private campsite. Loved the rockers until we noticed spiders & webs underneath. There were showers, although we didn't use them this trip & the restrooms were clean. We've stayed here twice now.

Interesting location. Limited amenities. I think only 3, maybe 4 sites have electricity. No water at campsites. You MUST bring in the water you need. There is a nice bath house. One for men, one for woman. Very clean. Camp hosts were very friendly and kind. He mentioned ticks and he was right, our dog did have one on him. We came in on Rock Landing rd. DON'T! Use Jeff Sanders instead. It's much drier but could be a little bumpy. There is a limited weight bridge, 8 tons, but it's very short and we had no issues. Rock Landing was very wet and muddy when we went in. We were sliding and spinning. Very stressful in a 38 ft unit with a tow vehicle behind. If you're looking for entertainment, this is not the park for you. If you like peace and quiet, you'll probably be happy. There is a boat ramp for smaller boats, canoes or kayaks.

Stayed here in Feb. I loved it but some might not. It's 'dry' camping with electricty. Very dark skies. Great for star gazing! It's not for everyone but we enjoyed it. Very remote. Watch for ticks. Also, no trash receptacles. Must take your trash out of the campground.

My first camping experience as an adult with my boyfriend. We absolutely loved it, secluded lots, very well maintained and the area was beautiful. The bathrooms were clean, it included a shower and it was much nicer than most campgrounds. The water is non potable, (don't drink it) definitely bring your own water, wood, and any other amenities but other wise it was perfect. I wish it wasn't 14 hours away from my home in Texas but my boyfriend and I agree that we will be back eventually. (Maybe with our children to give them that experience.) Camp hosts were definitely friendly, and no one bothered you. We left our spot cleaner than we found it. We appreciate the experience and recommend it for anyone going that way for camping. If I could give it 100 stars I would.
