We recently got married at Wood’s Tall Timber Lake Resort, and I cannot praise them enough. From the initial communication to the weekend of coordination, the staff went above and beyond all weekend to make our wedding perfect. The lodge was the perfect space for our reception and the gazebo was beautiful for the ceremony. Everything was very affordable too. We rented the large cabins for the bridal party and they were perfect - huge, clean, and comfortable beds plus the perfect getting ready space with a beautiful view of the lake. The staff set everything up for us, and some of the younger staff even dried our ceremony chairs for us after it rained the morning of the wedding. They even provided an on site coordinator who handled our vendors - she even bustled my dress before the reception because I completely forget to do it! To Jamie and the rest of your team - I cannot thank you all enough for making my dream wedding come to life. We can’t wait to come back for our anniversary!
Just finished an amazing weekend at this resort in Ohio. Cousins trip!!!! I came from Texas and my sister from Colorado to meet our cousins for a weekend. Can't say how much it was worth the time spent getting there. Beautifully maintained!!! Amazing Zipline tour.. guides were patient and inspiring when we were apprehensive to make the journey. Thank God they were.. we LOVED it!!! There are so many activities to do. They even had trick or treating and hay rides for the kids. There are cabins both large and small, RV hookups, and camping. The staff was so kind and inviting. We were fortunate to meet the owners, Larry and Lisa who are top notch good people. Highly recommend this resort!!!
Wood’s Tall Timber Resort is a campground like no other. We have never experienced so much fun all in one place, from the clean swimming lake, to ziplining, to rv camping, and we’ll kept bath houses. This place is the place we appreciate the most, and we love spending our summers here. Thanks WTTR!
It reminds me of how tappen used to be I've been going to tappen since 74 will definitely go back its just a great place to get away from the world
we had our wedding there in October. Jamie was awesome to work with. I had asked for a special request and they made it happen. the cabin we stayed in was beautiful and clean. would recommend 1,000 times over
