We had an incredible time staying at the Woodland Grove Campsite. The area is beautiful and peaceful, with tons to explore both on the Adventure Base grounds and in the surrounding region. Bob and Sheila were communicative and helpful hosts, providing information on the region and suggesting the perfect hike for us. We really enjoyed visiting. There is also potable water available, and the site is very well-maintained.

During my recent hiking trip at Whiteface Mountain, I stayed at the Adirondack Adventure Base. The owners, Bob and Sheila, went above and beyond the call of duty to make my stay comfortable and stress-free. After I unpacked my gear on the first day, I realized that I'd misplaced my tent poles. Bob quickly came to the rescue and generously allowed me borrow his family's tent. He even helped to set everything up in the dark. I am extremely grateful for the hospitality I received and would happily stay here again. Next time I will remember the tent poles, though!

We spent a week at Adirondack Vacation Base and had an amazing time. We used Woodland Grove as our base camp for many adventures. Sheila and Bob gave us advice on places to hike, bike, paddle and fish and each experience was exactly what we were looking for. The care, craftsmanship and details of their property is amazing! The environment was peaceful. Great place to unplug! If you are looking for an unforgettable experience, you should stay at one of their offerings!

We stayed at the lean-to on Bob and Sheila’s property (which we also highly recommend) for two days, and then for a night in their campground. Our campsite had a nice picnic table and fire pit, and the outhouse is clean and spacious. We had the whole campground to ourselves for the night, so we got a lot of space and quiet. Sheila and Bob are super friendly and helpful. They gave us great recommendations for activities in the area - Sheila even mapped out for us beautiful canoeing routes through the ponds nearby. And their maple syrup is delicious! The campground is located on a wonderful 50 acre property that was built up entirely by them, and trails through it are well-marked. Would recommend a stay here!

Adirondack adventures await! There is so much to see and do on and around the Adirondack Adventure base, you won’t be able to fit everything in, but you wI’ll have fun trying! We sure did, we followed Bob and Sheila’s suggestions for paddling, hiking and mountain biking, enjoying everything we tried, this is a beautiful spot. The campsite is so peaceful in the Forest. The outhouse is charming and kept very clean. We had great weather while we were there. Looking forward to our next stay!
