Worked for a few nights as we passed through. Close to Indiana dunes national park and as mentioned there is a dog park you can walk through the woods to get to. Or drive if you need to. You really just paying to park, unless I missed it I didn’t see a shower or bathroom area. It was a tight fit with the 90° back in. I did fit my 42 foot fifth wheel and parked my 1 ton truck next to it. The people here seem very friendly of the staff was nice. The train is loud and does shake the RV a little bit as it rolls through. The coin laundry nearby is $3.25 per load which is a bit high.

The park is great. Friendly, flexible staff. Trees and shade. Clean. Did not use restrooms. Downfall is the train tracks and traffic noise. Trains actually shake the ground all times of day. Hard to sleep.

This park was disappointing. There is not many parks to choose from in this area of the country, but my advice to you is pick somewhere else. This park is advertised in the Good Sams book but they do not offer a Good Sams discount. The park itself is not very clean and the further you get back into the park the more drity it gets. They say you will get 50 channels over your antenna but we could only pic up 9. 4 channels that would only come in for a few min at a time and 5 Spanish channels that came in crystal clear. Too bad I'm not bilingual. Maybe we would have gotten more channels if they would not have parked us directly under the powelines. There are very loud fireworks set off every night for hours at a time. Fireworks allowed in the park seemed like a bad idea since everyone uses propane. The train was close but did not create any problems. The fireworks were by far more of a nuisance. People drive very fast in the park. The staff was nice, they have a very nice laundry room and there is a small store on the property and they are located just minutes from south shore line train station.

I like this park. Friendly staff, quiet area as far as no one bothers anything. Not far from shopping and restaurants. Unlike most RV parks, here you get a yard that you take care of yourself. No bathhouse with showers but your RV should have that. There is laundry and a store at the front. Open year round, pet friendly and family friendly.

Staff is really friendly and accomodating. sites are somewhat spacious. Nice concrete pads for camper wheels and for patio. Lots of permanent residences though, and ignor the trains nearby. Enjoyed our stay
