Woodlawn Resort & Campground

The owners are friendly and so very helpful! We were there on a very warm weekend when the ac in our camper quit working. They worked hard and long to try to help us figure out the problem. When we couldn't fix the ac they ran and got us 3 fans to use. They bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of! Our children loved the swimming area with slides and also enjoyed the paddle boats and hydrobikes. Fishing was good. Our son was delighted to catch a good sized large mouth bass as well as a bunch of sunfish off the dock. We recommend this place!

A basic but nice camping experience!! Sites are very wooded and private. Some sites have electricity, and some are very basic. Fresh water fill hose is located by the basketball hoop to fill up your tank before getting setup at your site. Very nice people with great access to the lake. Sadly it was too windy to rent the pontoon. Definitely needs some updates, but the guy mentioned improvements and upgrades are coming.

An incredible place to bring your family!!! We went as a large family group and rented out 4 of their cabins (cabins 3, 6, 7 and 8). We had six kids in the group aging from 2 months to 10 years old in our group and they loved the playground, the great swimming area, and catching fish from the docks! The owners are incredible and are willing to go above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Scott even took the time to help me get my old boat motor running! The cabins are a bit old fashioned, which we didnt mind at all! The prices for the stay were very reasonable considering the location and how much space you get! We will be back!

I think people are getting paid to leave good reviews on this campground. We stayed in a cabin. Mouse poop in the pots and pans, spider webs in the silverware drawer, entire cabin was patched together. The curtains were absolutely disgusting, I really wonder when they were washed last. The ac was so little my husband slept in front of it to stay cool. These cabins are at least 80 to 90 yrs old. Everything is so grown over. I would never stay there again. Two good things, nice big play area and the owners are happy people.

The owner and staff are so friendly and the campground is nice and quiet. Nice sized camping areas, grassy, close to the lake, and rarely full so it's private. The only complaint is that the bathrooms need some TLC. Remember your shower flip flops and a hand towel and you should be fine, but keep that in mind. Really hoping they deep clean and freshen up the bathrooms soon. Great prices. There is also a nice beach area, with a few things to rent and a nice little playground on site. There is a boat access on site, but it is really shallow so we used the public access that is right nearby. A long dock is available to fish off of and park your boat for the day (boats must be trailered at night). There is a small fish cleaning house available, bring your own supplies. Electric available, but not water in each campsite. Hot water is only available in the showers as the bathroom sinks only have cold. Enjoy your stay on Lake Minnewaska!

Beautiful campground, well spaced out campsites. The beach is beautiful. They have a long dock as it it shallow, with slides and a lily pad for kiddos to play on. Scott is super friendly, energetic and helpful! They offer bait, ice and wheel barrels of wood. The cabins are very cute and rustic. The bath houses are a little bit dated, but do the job. If you’re looking for a small, safe family owned campground, that’s fairly quiet and right on the lake I highly recommend this place to everyone!
