Woodside Lake Park

The campground was very accommodating for my fellow travel nurse and I. At first they said they wouldn’t be able to keep us our entire 3 month contract but then they were able to make it so we could be on 2 different sites and still be there for the entirety of our contract. They were also very generous stating if I was not there to move the camper the day we needed to they would be able to for us since I live so far away from the camper. Definitely plan on coming back up to this campground just to have fun rather than just for work. Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay but didn't think it would be necessary to pay the lock in fee of $15 additional for being able to keep the site we chose when we paid in full at the time of booking. However, we were wrong! We made our reservations at the exact time that friends did, thinking we would be able to stay in the lots that we chose next to each other. When we got there, we found out that they had deemed it necessary to move us two spaces over. Why? It still makes no sense to us. It was our first time ever staying there, so it left a bad taste for us. Otherwise, we enjoyed the weekend. Just a completely unnecessary money maker for them. I would have thought it would have been worth the $15 for them to make first time visitors happy. (Our friends called ahead to see if it could be changed back and were told no, that the park was fully booked. When we got there we found that it was NOT fully booked.)

We lived having a seasonal camp site at Woodside. Our lot is nicely sized. 50A service is very reliable. The park provides a lot of weekend activities including concerts on many Saturdays in the Summer. We plan to return for next season. Tim, the manager, is very responsive to the needs of campers.

We feel in love with Woodside Lake Park the first time we pulled in. Within 4 days, we purchased one of the seasonal 5th wheels that was for sale and got moved in. We love, love our new home away from home. The campground is beautiful, the staff are all exceptional, friendly, and helpful. Lots of activities for children and adults. Can't wait to go back next season!

The stay was just okay; the facilities are decent at best. It's clear why people keep coming back, but for me, one major issue stood out—the blatant money grab for the LOCK FEE to keep your selected spot. We booked with friends, reserving our spots next to each other. At check-in, however, the "SYSTEM" separated us with two camping spots in between. Their excuse? "Optimizing space." Ridiculous. This left a bad taste in my mouth before we even arrived. The sites are crammed together—our picnic table was less than 3 feet from someone else's slide and only 2 feet from our camper steps. Setting up wasn't too hard since the sites are fairly level, but the waste water hookup is elevated too high, making it difficult to empty the tanks completely. I might come back in summer when the lake is usable, but overall, the experience was far from impressive.
