Our family (and extended family) love coming to the Pines each summer. My kids ask all year long when it will be time to come again. There's plenty of activities to keep everyone busy - a nice playground, swimming pool, numerous sports, a pond to fish in or boat on, mini golf, and the list goes on. Each day there is also Bible teaching in the morning for all ages. The kids have a blast at kid's program. As far as accommodations go, there's something for everyone. They have tent sites, RV sites, primitive cabins, glamping sites, cabins, and brand new cottages. Being at the Pines is a breath of fresh air and I'd recommend it to everyone.
The pines is perhaps the best camping I've done in a long time. You can make your own food at your camp site or sign up for a meal plan for a price. The food is very good, and the speakers they have come really make the time worthwhile and edifying for your spirit.
There is something for everyone here: food, family events, camping outdoors, camping in cabins, relaxed kayaking, climbing walls, zip lines, mini-golf, volleyball, the word of God being shared mightily. It's an amazing time, and I highly recommend it!
I have grown up coming here every summer, and it is an amazing place. I have watched meteor showers laying on the beach, and this past summer saw the comet Neowise over Andrew's pond. It is truly an experience, especially given the teaching and camaraderie of going to the pines.
Amazing time for the family, several events, and play areas for the kids. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The best part was hearing the word several times a day and the fellowship! This was the best family camping experience anyone could and should have! It is truly a blessing!
