I had the wonderful experience of staying at the Worshire Lodge in early October. Cabin #5 was so clean, comfortable and had everything I could ever want in a cabin including being just steps from Fall River. It was so quiet and I felt safe here! Management had great communication before my stay and answered all my questions. This will be my first choice when I return to Estes Park. I have stayed at many properties and this was #1 by far! Thank you Workshire Lodge!

Loved staying at our Lodge. Our cabin had everything we were told it would have and enjoyed being by the river. Hope to get back to Estes Park again and would love to stay at Workshire Lodge on our next visit. Thank you for providing a perfect cabin for our first visit.

- lovely stay and a good price - I usually booked my hotels 3 months ahead, so I was worried since this trip was decided spontaneously, and I had to book it 2 weeks before our trip. I looked everywhere and searched all my options, but most places were already booked given it was Labor Day weekend. I randomly searched all over the place on Google Maps and found this place. All the cabins next to the river were already taken, but we just needed a place to rest and didn’t care much about it. I did take a walk along the river, and I didn’t think it was worth the price difference unless you liked to sit outside and look at the views. The price of this place was even lower than the ones I had found previously (around $180 a night after tax and fees for cabin #7). The road wasn’t fully paved, but it was fine to drive on. It could be a bit narrow at some points. The cabins were quite remote, but there was another facility next to them, so it wasn’t like a cabin in the woods with nothing else around, as that could be scary for some. Basically, you got enough peace and quiet without being too far away from civilization. I even saw two hikers walking past my cabin and said hi. We arrived around 7 pm, and I found my name on a sheet of paper to guide me to my cabin. I already knew where it was, but it was reassuring. The cabin was lovely and full of bear-themed décor. The bed was a bit small, mostly because I’m used to a king-sized bed, but I still slept well. There are everything you need in the kitchen: kitchen towels, napkins, etc. There are 3 bar soaps for us, but there is no shampoo, conditioner, or hair dryer. We didn't wash our hair that night so it was fine, or else you might want to bring your own as they don't provide it. We went to bed super early as there wasn’t much to do. The cabin was sort of hot so we turned the fan to the highest. It was too loud and I couldn't sleep well, so we turned it down. However it became too hot in the middle of the night so my husband couldn't sleep. I think it will be better to stay here in the winter and stay cozy when the temperature in the cabin is just right. I woke up around 1 am and saw a sky full of stars. It was quite chilly, but the view was amazing. It was a good time since there was a crescent moon that didn’t interfere much. The water pressure was good, the water was hot enough for my shower, and the Wi-Fi was fine for us as well. After we checked out, I sent them an email about leaving the keys in the cabin. They told me my card had been declined, so I told them I’d call when I had better reception since I was in the mountains. They kindly told me to call tomorrow and just enjoy the mountains for the day. So I did, and I felt I couldn’t have asked for a better host than that.

Great cabin for a three night stay in Estes! Had more supplies than anticipated, included coffee maker, microwave, dishes and glasses. Easy to get to, and ours was right on the river, which was beautiful.

The cabin was spotless with great amenities. The kitchen was outfitted perfectly, and there was always plenty of hot water for our showers. The owners are lovely and helpful and they have an adorable dog named Cooper. It is located very close to the north entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park and is a simple walk down to the river where we saw deer, hummingbirds, turkey, elk and other wildlife. I highly recommend staying here and you can’t beat the price.
