Customer Reviews
Great camping spot. Most beautiful lake, I had no idea that the lake was as big as it was. Must love bugs, the pesty kind!!! The camping here is respectful, family style or at least that was the weekend I experienced. The lake has a public, white sandy beach which is so pretty with a shallow area for the little ones. Bring your own tp.
We stayed here in a 40 foot Skoolie. With 2dogs and 2 little kids. Beach is very nice for kids because it's shallow. Plenty of room for tents, RVs and trailers. A few campsites have their own little beaches. 3 sets of pot toilets. No potable water. No electricity. Met some really kind locals who take care of the site. Beautiful site. Road is a little bumpy in.. about 3 kms. First entrance is steep incline. 2nd is less of a grade but slopes to the right around the curve. Can stay here for free up to 14 days. Potable water found at gas station in woss. We were there during wildfire season and were being constantly updated.
Pros: It's a great location, with some nice campsites over looking the lake. There is lots of space and you aren't too close to any other campsites. It's not usually busy, so there's certainly peace. Cons: There are several questionable shacks where you don't really know what's going on, and the outhouses are pretty sketchy.
Rugged campground but nice. First come, first serve. Free camping.Probably too tight for motorhomes or big trailers. Right next to Lake and River. Nice beach at Lake for swimming. Good hiking trails. Boat launch is not far away. Close to Woss if you need anything. Beautiful forest all around. Enough cell service to txt if needed.
Beautiful place, grew up here. Please be respectful. You’ll find fun people. Enjoy 🌄
