Customer Reviews
The area is peaceful and quiet. Felled trees litter the area so be prepared to make some space. I underestimated the size and ferocity of the mosquitoes there. Not sure what they eat when there aren't people around... BRING REPELLENT. And always be bear aware. There was fresh scat on the trail close to the lake.
Out of the way, didn’t see any day hikers or anyone else. The water didn’t taste great, so bring as much as you can from the last creek crossing. In September, it was sunny to rainy to snowing... and we heard elk calls overnight right next to the camp.
Very nice
