First stop on the squaw flat canyon trail for over night back country camping. Permit required. Reservation recommended. Reserve online or at the visitors center. No potable water available. Water (must be treated before drinking) may be near by in creek depending on season and conditions. Site is mildly exposed and is somewhat susceptible to the wind. Ground fires are not permitted.
We stayed here for our first night in Canyonlands. This was a great site with nice views and easy access to water.
