Wonderful hotel for a hiking vacation with the family. The location is amazing in that you are very close to the trails in the morning. Instead of a long drive in on winding roads you can enjoy coffee and a breakfast buffet! The whole family loved our stay. We especially liked the adjacent room (which has a sliding door) to our superior room. After the kids went to sleep, the wife and I could hang out and didn’t have to go to bed early or hang out in the bathroom. The Wuksachi lodge is highly recommended!

This hotel is a true escape into nature. Nestled right in the middle of the forest, it offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. The decor is thoughtfully designed to blend seamlessly with the surroundings, creating a cozy and natural vibe. I also love how they prioritize sustainability, reserving power and keeping everything eco-friendly. A beautiful retreat for anyone seeking a quiet and nature-filled getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Wuksachi Lodge! The location is absolutely beautiful, with rustic rooms that perfectly fit the theme of the surroundings. The main lodge was clean, and we had an excellent experience at the restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive, with Ian standing out for his exceptional service. However, there are a couple of areas that could use improvement. Adding an elevator or ramp to the Sequoia Lodge would be helpful, as getting to the second floor was a challenge for older guests. In fact, my husband and I helped a few guests with their luggage as they were struggling with the stairs. Additionally, the women's toilet in the main Wuksachi Lodge could use some attention. Despite visiting multiple times, it consistently had a bad smell that really detracted from the experience. Overall, we loved the lodge and would recommend it, but these improvements would make future stays even better!

We arrived late because of travel (the roads are windy and there was fog, snow, and ice). We rented chains from the Chevron in Three Rivers. Didn't end up using them, but easily could have. The cabins are nice, roomy - but note they are located a fair walk from the main building. Hot water is a little iffy, could have been that particular unit's thermostat. Staff was great and got us in for dinner right as they were shutting down for the night. So beautiful in the winter.

What an incredible location! The only reason I'm giving 4/5 in the Room is because ours didn't have AC. It has a window fan that you can plug in & put in the window. It wasn't a problem for us since we visited in October, but people need to be aware of that if they're planning to visit in the summer. Other than that small detail, the lodges & rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, food at the main lodge is tasty & fairly priced, the staff is friendly & helpful, and the location within the park is gorgeous.
