Introduce

Welcome to Wyeth Campground, your gateway to outdoor adventures in Oregon! Located in the charming town of La Pine, our campground sits right on the banks of the Deshutes River, offering a serene and natural setting for your next camping trip.

Known for its dry camping style, Wyeth Campground requires visitors to bring their own drinking water. Despite this, many guests appreciate the rustic charm and the opportunity to disconnect from modern conveniences while enjoying nature.

  • Quiet Setting: Perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat, our campground offers a tranquil environment surrounded by natural beauty.
  • Riverfront Location: Camp right on the Deshutes River, ideal for fishing or simply taking in the scenic views.
  • Amenities: While we are a dry campsite, we provide fire pits and picnic tables for your convenience. Please note that there is no drinking water available on-site.

Customer feedback highlights our prime location and new boat ramp as major attractions. However, some guests have noted issues with blocked walking paths due to fallen trees, which they attribute to ATV activity. We are committed to preserving the environment but understand this can be frustrating for visitors.

Really enjoyed this place. Quiet camp right on the banks of Deshutes River. Note this is a dry camp - no drinking water - so bring your own.

The campground and new boat ramp look great. However, I was extremely disappointed that the road we have walked on in the past has been blocked with numerous trees. I get that ATV s are destructive but why are you penalizing everyone else.

This is our second trip to Wyeth this summer and we love it! The sites are very nice, quiet and clean. Great hiking spot with an awesome little waterfall. The best part was meeting our camp host, Tracy and her family. She was so kind and accommodating, we would go back just to see her! If you are looking for a nice place to camp, hike, ride a bike or roast a mallow...this is your kind of place.
