Family of 5 just passed through on our way to South Dakota. The owners are real sweet and will assist with any issues or questions you might have. Laundry facilities and restrooms, both clean and maintained. Looks a little rough but over all I'd say it's a nice little spot with views of the rolling hills. Had a storm roll through and it got a little rough, so the owner suggested we go the laundry building where it would be much safer than our little pop up camper. Would definitely stay again if we pass back through.
This place is a dump. The only good thing I can say is that the old guy who greeted us was nice. No fire rings, all gravel, no lawn area, no store. Can't even enter the office/lobby. No dump station. Pool behind locked doors but I doubt there even is one. For $60 frickin dollars a night I expect sooooo much better! What a rip-off! No amenities whatsoever.
This place is very clean, quiet, and peaceful. It’s great for kids. There’s an old but very nice little park area and beautiful scenery in the back. The owners are nice and help whenever they can.
Mike was super nice and helpful. The campground has a fun feel. Had all the normal campground facilities. Lots of wide open grass and open areas. Looks like it has lots of fun things going on during the summer. We were just passing through, so I did not use any facilities. Dog friendly with playground and picnic area. I would stay again
Pros: because its literally a stones throw from the highway, its easy to access. Full hook-ups. Wifi. No cable. Cons: They shoe horn people in here so tightly they almost don't give enough room to open your door. Super cramped, noisy, and rude staff. All in all, I've seen truck stops and Wal Mart parking lots less crowded and less noisy. Do yourself a favor and keep driving.
