Campground is closed, no word when it will ever open either. BEAUTIFUL, peaceful place to visit as a day trip though. I can only imagine what it looked like before the fire. Hiking, ATV, SXS, fishing, small boats are ok, and picnicing! No picnic tables or grills. Bring folding chairs, and pack out what you pack in!
Amazing Scenery, beautiful reservoir. Overnight camping is CLOSED from May 2018 to September 2018 due to the 2017 Brianhead fires. Miles of burned trees surrounding a beautiful brook and meadow. Great paddleboarding spot.
Took the kids here and had an amazing time.
Sign said no camping and all the trees were torched... Apparently Smokey the Bear needs to talk to some people....
I absolutely love Yankee Meadows. We camp there every summer. The restrooms at the campground are clean and don't smell. The camp sites are spread out so your no to close to other campers. It's beautiful. There are free sites as well closer to the lake..but no campfires are allowed. There are also free spots along the little creek. Very Refreshing and beautiful. !
