I work nearby so my husband and I decided to camp to have a shorter drive as well as a little relaxation turned from 1 week into 3 weeks. We didn't want to leave when we did! The campground is beautiful. The staff is kind. They have something for everyone. We will definitely return as long and as much as possible. We would definitely be long term campers there if it were at all possible!
We spent 4 nights during fall break at Yarberry and LOVED IT! Great location on the water, not far from attractions in nearby towns such as Pigeon Forge, and Townsend, but without all of the crowd! We hope to come back soon!
This was a dart board pick and we scored. Beautiful campground located in Lenior City on a peninsula on Fort Loudoun Lake. Contactless check in, our site 55 was large and kinda private the way the site was angled. We had a peek a boo view of the lake. They listed the site as non lake front, it is, but there are trees and a steep drop off to the waters edge. Not water accessible bit we did have a view.
For the last 2 times we have utilized this camp ground. There are homeless people there. They are camping in the rRV Area down in the woods. Several campers were alarmed by this. I spoke to the manager. She was VERY RUDE. BASICALLY told me that she let's them stay here and that she knows them and I should mind my own business. And tried to intimidate me, stating that I told fellow campers of the homeless pack I that she knew the sheriff personally. This is called FREEDOM OF SPEECH. THE SHERIFF CANNOT STOP ME FROM TALKING. If I wanted to camp around homeless people I would go to a homeless camp. I do not know what kind of luck that this man and women and a pack of dogs fell on. I just think that they should advise other paying customers of the situation here and that they can make a informed decision. Manager needs some IP skills and some ethics training FORMAL COMPLAINTS TO FOLLOW
Absolutely the best TVA campground that I've ever stayed at. Access to everything boat ramp as well as slips you can rent so many different things such as paddle boards and kayaks have a great store there if you need anything it's really nice because firewood is on the honor system at night. The staff is very friendly man by people who stay there during the summer. Mary and her husband Bob one of the camp hosts were fantastic neighbors.I even shared some of my grandmother's carrot cake with them. If it's a holiday weekend you better book early. Very affordable very friendly
