Yavapai Lodge

Rooms were clean and comfortable. I keep giving 5 stars for Rooms, Service and Location but it is not posting them. Came here to spend Christmas Day viewing the Grand Canyon. I wasn't disappointed. The roads around to different points are well marked and paved. The walk to different views from different parking lots were for the most part easy to make with some resting needed for me. I will likely go back for another time of year. Great place.

The location is great. The rooms are well appointed for a lodge but still a little , well, rustic. Had a mad time checking in, front desk supervisor made a meal of it. Also , for some reason house keeping bangs on all the doors at 8 am. It's good for seeing the canyon, bit put this place anywhere else and the rating would be lower. It is what it is.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Room had bugs in the bed, dead cockroaches on the ground. Bathroom dirty with toothpaste and other stains. Front desk clerk useless and gave run-around. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEIR WEBSITE. They will give you a run-around when you try to get a refund and it’s honestly so sketchy. Lucky I disputed the charge through my credit card company. Front desk clerk was absolutely useless with no manager on site. Another customer came in before me and complained that shower was not working at all and they did nothing for him. Trust me and not the rest of these people leaving good reviews. Stay somewhere else. You’ve been warned. Response to Owner: Google doesn’t allow me to reply to your comment so I am editing this post. You do not know how to operate a lodge. Instead of sending generic apology messages to customers you should fix your business or close down. Your website is a scam and you use third party agencies to book rooms. They are impossible to reach and you do not actually care about customers. Don’t stay here!

This has been the worst hotel room we stayed in in a very long time. The room was very old, very small and so was the furnishing. Bathroom is so small that you cannot store anything in there. Bathroom door looked itself from the outside and we needed security in the middle of the night to open it. Coffee maker did not work. I cannot recommend this lodge for an overnight stay to anyone.

Yavapai Lodge is an excellent place to stay if you’re visiting the Grand Canyon! The location is unbeatable—right inside the park, making it easy to explore at any time, even at night. The nearby general store is super convenient for grabbing essentials, and the lodge has all the amenities you might need. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to try the cafeteria, but the prices seemed reasonable. The vibe of staying inside the park is truly special—it’s peaceful, and you feel immersed in nature. Highly recommend this lodge for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay at the Grand Canyon!
