Title: A Memorable Camping Experience with Rachel: A Hostess Extraordinaire Nestled amidst the serene wilderness of Rachel's Land lies an unforgettable camping experience curated by the remarkable hostess herself, Rachel. From the moment we arrived, Rachel's warmth and hospitality enveloped us, setting the stage for an unparalleled adventure in nature. One of the standout features of Rachel's hosting is her impeccable attention to detail. Every aspect of our camping trip was meticulously planned, from the cozy setup of our tents to the unforgettable hospitality bestowed by not only Rachel but her family as well. Rachel ensured that all our needs were not just met, but exceeded, leaving us free to immerse ourselves fully in the beauty of the surroundings. Beyond the logistics, Rachel's genuine passion for the outdoors shone through in every interaction. Her extensive knowledge of the local flora and fauna especially the bobcats added depth to our hikes, transforming them into enlightening expeditions. Moreover, her infectious enthusiasm for outdoor events elevated our campfire meals into culinary delights, showcasing the bounty of the land in creative and delicious ways. But perhaps what truly sets Rachel apart as a camping hostess is her unwavering commitment to creating a sense of community among her guests. Whether it was through hilltop yoga sessions or impromptu group activities, Rachel fostered connections that transcended mere acquaintance, leaving us feeling like part of a close-knit family by the end of our stay. In summary, a camping experience at Rachel's Land is not just about sleeping under the stars or exploring the wilderness; it's about being enveloped in the warm embrace of Rachel's hospitality and passion for the outdoors. If you're seeking an unforgettable camping adventure infused with warmth, authenticity, and camaraderie, look no further than Rachel's Land.
We camped here for the eclipse and it was perfection. This property is so vast with varying landscapes. We enjoyed taking hikes/walks throughout the property everyday! The facilities are very clean. Rachel and Corinne were beyond hospitable. The stars you see at night are breathtaking. The park is a good location to venture to Pedernales Falls State Park and of course Fredericksburg. Some people have made mention of the freeway noise, but we were far enough back to not be a distraction. Traveler tip, they don’t have picnic tables or fire pit/ fire rings, so if bring your own if you like those amenities. They have public huge fire rings, but we prefer to stay to ourselves. We plan to come back! Thank you for making our trip for the Eclipse so perfect!
Yeager Creek RV park has been such a great place to find rest and connection. The nature here is stunning, the community at the park is eclectic and kind! Showers, Bathrooms, Laundry & a great shared clubhouse make for a special experience! Community gardens are being prepped and the nature trials are well kept! rachel the owner who lives on site is so sweet and communicative! she has a vision for so many fun community happenings here. A hidden gem we are thankful we found!
Okay, so the place was beautiful. A nice place with grass and trees. It is located next to a loud highway, so I wouldn't say it was the best place for camping, which for us wasn't an issue since we didn't camp. But it is something to consider if traffic noise bothers you. We came for their 2024 Eclipse "festival". They up charged outrageously ($100/car just for a few hours day pass). The festival wasn't anything big. There was a little bit of music for a short time and a food truck. There was face painting and a few things going on the days leading up to the event, but not what I'd consider "worthy" of the price tag. People were setting up and camping in the grass, and for some reason, they thought leaving the sprinkler system on DURING the eclipse event (in the middle of the day) while people were sitting on the grass, would be a good idea, I suppose? So, we were sprayed on over 3 times at least. I would say this wasn't thought out entirely. There were no trash cans anywhere that we could find, which was disappointing especially considering the price tag. We had to haul our trash which wasn't a big deal, but it was annoying considering there was a bit of a hike as they did not let us drive into the actual park, so again, for the price they charged us, ouch. (I know I know, we should expect price gouging during events, but still, even the bare minimum wasn't met). I wouldn't come here again for an event, but we made due as travelers coming for the Eclipse. It wasn't crowded and it was a nice little spot. 3 stars because it was clean and we weren't treated poorly during our short visit.
The vast place I have ever camped! The owners are the sweetest made us feel right at home! The showers and bathrooms are nice and clean I love it so much!!
