Good for kids
On-site parking
I've watched this area go from open grazing land where the cattle were eroding the banks to a world-class catch and release fishing destination for over 40 years now. This is where my children will spread my ashes
This is one of the most beautiful and unbelievable views and So relaxing.
The valley is full of flowers this time of year, the fishing was pretty slow, great time out in the woods
One of California's gems. This meadow is pristine. AS SUCH any visitor shall walk in this realm with reverence and respect. Badger, otters, Falcons, bear and elk and many other splendid creatures call this place home. There are simply not enough of these places anymore. The campground is small and quiet. The meadow and surrounding area abounds with adventure. Clean vault toilets and running water. This campground will soon be transferred from PG&E governance to the Maidu people. This event is fantastic and hopefully the beginning of many more to come. I pray these fine people maintain the campground and safely host visitors of all walks to this heavenly nook. And most importantly, safeguard this gorgeous meadow.
One of the most serene , unheard of campsites around. The view doesnt hurt and theres lots to explore nearby
