This place is awesome! Very secluded and plenty of space for multiple vehicles. Close trails nearby for some exploring. The dirt roads are so much fun to drive on, woo! However, there is just one minor con. The actual campsite is a little ways down the road, so if you have already occupied the site then you may get some visitors driving up to your campground.
An awesome spot! Currently (early June) there is a large puddle being fed by snowmelt, about 1.5 ft deep and 1/8 mile from the site. I have a small sedan so I parked by the puddle, and just hoofed it a few times with my gear. Honestly, totally worth it.
2 secluded yellow post sites on dead end road. Usually occupied in peak season. Expect snow and road closures in winter.
Previous campers have littered the spot with bullet casings and bags of human waste. Clean up after yourself if you're going camping.
This campsite is pretty great but there is only one campfire allowed. There is not restrooms near by and it's about 45 min back down town. I wouldn't come back to this campsite
