Great place to take the family. Nice walking trails, Frisbee golf course that is maintained, good fishing, picnic areas with grills, pavilions for group get together and just a beautiful place to enjoy nature.
Nice bathrooms, showers available. Tent and RV camping. All sites:$20 Located just minutes from Downtown Denison,Ia. No wake boating on lake, fishing, cabin rentals, and a beach!
Nice open space, flat ground for tent camping. Spaces are a little close together, but not crowded when I was there. Railroad nearby, not super close, earplugs will drown it out while sleeping. Hot showers.
This is a nice park and campground the lake is not huge but ir is plenty big enough to bring a boat, as long as it's an electric motor, the camping cabins are large and comfortable. There is a 4 mile paved walking trail with 2 bridges that cross over water, and a swimming beach. There are several places to come for the day and grill, or playgrounds to bring the kids. The lodge is nice if you need a space to rent for your gathering it's on top of the hill so it has nice views.
We stayed there for 3 nights and we couldn't have been happier. It was very peaceful and quiet. The restrooms and shower stations were so very clean. We will be coming back. It had a fabulous playground for the kids. And there is swimming and kayaking and fishing. The host and hostess Fuzzy and Jo We're very very friendly.
