Yellowstone Lake Chalet Campground has some delicious breakfast and lunch food. Top it off with some delicious flavors of Ice cream. They have bait, simple groceries and necessities that you may need while camping. Friendly staff. Takes debt, credit and cash. Kid and dog friendly.
I go here each summer to visit my family and it is so lovely. They have a fun playground and two shops. One for bait and one mini mart. There are also some Amish shops up the hill so if you come here, definitely stop by!
Made reservations over 2 months ago, called a week before our trip to check reservations and possibly extend them. They said call back the day before to see if we could come early said our original reservations are good. We leave tomorrow so we called and they said they have construction workers there so you can’t stay here at all. We now have no where to stay. Not impressed.
Nice lake, limited activites. When campin fire has to be out at some crazy time like 10-11 PM. I will not camp their simply for that reason. Not bad other than that, and I still will go to the lake. I do go a lot less now tho due to them closing the bridge on the damn. They took a lot of fun outta it for sure there.
Didn't camp here as we were staying in the park, but did stop here for ice, which was fairly priced. They have beer and ice cream as well - store is open 7a-7p usually.
