Customer Reviews
It wasn’t too far from Yellowstone, and the facilities were generally good. There were enough shower facilities, and there was a simple area for doing dishes. The playground was well-maintained, so it was great for kids to run around and play. However, the swimming pool needs better water quality management, as it was quite dirty. I would strongly suggest that they improve the pool maintenance. The staff seemed to work hard, and overall, it was a decent place to stay.
We brought our trailer and stayed there. The patio was really neat, it was cement, so not a lot of dirt and mud tracked into the trailer. The fire pit was clean when we got there. The store was pretty cool and had everything we needed and at a decent price, too. We did the mining dirt with the kids and got some cool gemstones. The location was ideal and right next to town, and the entrance to Yellowstone. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. We will definitely be going there again.
Check in was very easy and smooth. Greeter was friendly and provided good, reliable recommendations for dinner. Escorter took us to our sight. Restrooms were clean and well lit. Our sight was not as level as we would have liked. Perhaps occasional grading? Also, our sight did not have an evening night light. Very quiet… we liked the dual purpose grill and campfire enclosure. That would be helpful for setting up after dark. Overall, a pleasant experience.
Overall very nice campground. Friendly staff. Clean. Proximity to town & gas good. Really needs more lighting. Took dog for walk in back of park: pitch blackness at night..can’t see AT ALL! (We were in trailer at 109 at front..nice spot.) I’d ask for spot 101-108 or 144-148! Would be nice to put just a few, regular, secured trash cans around the property. (Also, ask outdoor breakfast guy to lower the music early in the morning, please.)
This was an excellent location to get to Yellowstone. The campsite was great and all of the staff were extremely nice. The store, laundry, restrooms, and coffee/ice cream shack were all nice and clean. Definitely a place for families with plenty to do. Not the place for you if you want tranquility. We were awakened early every morning and kept up late with all the hustle and bustle as our campsite was very close to the main building.
These guys go out of their way to make sure you’re 100% happy! Some of the sites slope either to the left or the right, my auto leveling lifted my tires off the ground. I did not bring any leveling blocks for the tires. I went to purchase some upfront, but they did not have any.. They physically showed me three other sites, which were about the same. They went and looked for some blocks and found some 2 x 6 wood that worked out perfect? These guys Are awesome
Me and my dad were tent camping, and we got the most awkward site ever. It wasn't a bad site, it was just on the corner of all the cabins. Pretty awkward. However, everything else about the campground is nice. The showers and bathrooms are really nice, wifi is half decent, lots of stuff to do around camp, and staff is incredibly nice. There was one guy with gauged ears and a septum piercing who was very cool. Also, the pulled pork sandwich I had was probably one of the best i've ever had in my life. 10/10 would recommend their food.
Given the amount of people at this KOA, the staff keep the camground very tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s a well used park. We did stay near the kids play area which contributed to the “well used” part. Laundry is available
Just 5 miles outside the town of Yellowstone and 6 from the Park. Very friendly staff. Sites are tight, but doable. Location is the best part. Highly recommend!
Close to yellowstone west entrance. It's a beautiful park large and well maintained. Indoor heated pool! Great sites with all the services. We'll maintained and very friendly staff you really can't go wrong. Cabins also.
