Good for kids
1Y7 is a large site along the river which can accommodate any size group. After seeing footage of the area after the 2022 flooding it looks like campers may need to setup tents further from the river due to new muddy sediments and gravel which overflowed in the flood. Overall this is a great backcountry site with good privacy and a big food prep/bear pole area.
Excellent walking experience long walk or short!
